Rivers and Roads

Another update before I go on holiday! (I love having time in the summer to blog, makes a nice change!) We're almost in the middle of July now and I can feel the summer sort of slipping away which kind of sucks, especially with the weather how it is. I'm gonna be away for 2 weeks, I'm back on 30th July and then off to London for a week pretty much straight after on the 3rd August! Then I start school on August 30th, which is basically a crime. :-(

These last few days, I've just been taking a few pics and watching lots of television (did I hear brand new double bill of New Girl? :-D) and trying (but mostly failing) to get some of my summer work done before I'm off on holiday. Plus eating. Lots and lots of eating. E.g. KFC, Ben & Jerry's, apple pies, eggs (love them), cherry bakewells, Galaxy cookie crumble, sausage and mustard sarnies, toast and tea, etc. Basically lots of junk. But I compensate with fruit like strawberries, oranges, apples and pineapple so I don't feel so bad. My kinda diet. :-)
...But now I'm hungry.

Anyway, to distract myself, here are some photos, plus a little outfit post. Hope you like them!

1. New U.O. top & Levi's shorts
2. Latest buys: U.O. top, 2 books and No7 nail varnish
3. Sending a pen pal letter!
4. Discovered my new talent... Frying eggs!
5. Patriotic packaging for my fave apple pies :-)
6. Lookin' sleepy. Probably because I am

I'm not sure if I'll have a chance to blog again before I'm off to Taiwan on Saturday since I'm staying in Oxford on Friday, ready to go down to Heathrow on Saturday. If not, I hope you're all having wonderful holidays! I'll be taking loads and loads of pictures in Taiwan and will hopefully be able to blog from there a few times, so look out for those. Anyway, I don't think I can procrastinate much further in terms of packing (hate it!), so I'd better get cracking. (Hey, I'm a poet and I didn't know it!)

Happy blogging!

P.S. I'm pretty sure that I have an unhealthy obsession with The Head and the Heart. They're so good! Rivers and Roads is a great song.

  1. I love your top, so pretty! Jealous that you're escaping the miserable weather!

  2. Loved this post! Sounds like you are set to have an amazing holiday, the English weather so far aside! Hope you have an amazing holiday :) x

  3. That top is cute!

And I'm going to sound like a total American here, but I like your mailbox (postbox?). Reminds me of Atonement, which makes sense considering that takes place in England.

A friend of mine send me Rivers and Roads on a mix CD last summer and I also love listening to it when it comes on my ipod!

    Hope you're well. :)

  4. Love your pictures! Hope you have a really good holiday!

  5. Cute top - love the lace! And I'm in love with your post box, it's to die for!

    Have fun in Taiwan!
