Go Outside

I absolutely love receiving things in the post, especially packages (even if they're presents that I've bought for other people)! It's just so exciting to sign for it and then open it up to see what it is that you've ordered. I received these items in the post the other day and thought I'd just post them on here.

1. The Beatles Anthology, Gossip Girl Season 1, PaperMate pencils & Uni Pin Drawing Pens
2, 3, 4 & 5: Pages from The Beatles Anthology

I got The Beatles Anthology for my brother for his 14th birthday as he's a massive Beatles fan. Even though it's officially for him, I will no doubt be stealing it for prolonged periods of time as it is such a brilliant anthology, written by the Beatles, documenting the band up to 1970. There are so many amazing photographs and interviews, as well as scans of their actual writing, little notes and lyrics. I highly recommend it to any Beatles fan. :-) The Gossip Girl Season 1 DVD was another present for a friend, I love Gossip Girl and really miss watching the first few seasons when they were still in high school.
Lastly, the pens and pencils were for myself as I absolutely LOVE stationery and can't get enough of it. These pencils are my absolute favourite and I can't use anything else. They're a bit wasteful as you can't refill them with lead, but they write so nicely and so much better than other mechanical pencils as the lead never drops out. These pens were a bit of an indulgence and come in 5 different nib sizes and writes so smoothly and wonderful. The 0.5mm is my favourite, but they're all so lovely and will be great for both writing and drawing, esp. on the pages of my Moleskine. Can't wait to use them properly!

So yes, as you can see, I get a little excited by packages, especially packages full of stationery. As long as I have a nice pen, I'm happy. :-) I'll be back with some more posts soon as I went shopping yesterday with some friends. Also, my prom is tomorrow which is going to be lovely, despite the torrential rain and thunder which has been forecast for tomorrow. :-( It's a bit annoying, but it'll be a nice night, nonetheless! Hope you're all well and that you've got lovely weekends planned. Happy blogging!

  1. I'm too tired to write a proper comment, but yes, Go Outside is a fantastic summer tune! It will also forever remind me of this awesome video a friend made to it. :)
