Sketching

Hi! I've been doing a lot of drawing today, as always... I've never done this before either, but I decided to draw a blogger! I dunno if you guys know her, but I am an avid follower and reader of her blog. She has a certain way with words and she always dresses with such style. She always reminds me of Alexa Chung, who, as we all know, is just about the coolest lady in the world.

Anyway, it doesn't really look like her, but in my ever-constant procrastination, I gave it a go. Here it is:

Hope you like it! As well as that, I've been doing other random drawings...

Hm, maybe I should've spent that time revising for my mocks, but I just love drawing at the moment. Well, I should get back to enjoying the last day of half term - I can't believe I'm back to school tomorrow! I shall be back soon, thanks for reading. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and happy blogging! :-)

Also, again, please check out my Flickr account, as I've just uploaded a few more photos, so check it out! Thanks! :-)

Flickr

Hi all! I just created a Flickr account today and I would absolutely love it if you could check it out. I don't have a lot on there at the moment, only like three photos which I took a while ago, but yeah. I'm gonna start saving for a DSLR hopefully, as I'm hopefully gonna start doing some tutoring and this will hopefully fund a camera! I'm not sure how long it'll take, but I'm pretty determined. :-)

Anyway, back to the topic... Please please please check out my flickr.
Click HERE to check it out and I will love you forever. Thanks! :-)

Here are a couple of the photos I have uploaded, they're not fantastic, but they're just my starting point. Thank you!

The Girl

Hi guys, I'm currently lazing around after cutting my sister's hair and doing a little bit of homework (a little being the operative word). I'm gonna finish reading Freakonomics at some point… It’s taken me far too long to read a 300 page book. Good job it's half term as I can’t wait to finish One Day by David Nicholls as well as read Walden by Henry David Thoreau and Kurt Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse 5. Also, can’t wait to purchase The Great Gatsby (Fitzgerald) and Breakfast of Champions (Vonnegut). It’s gonna be a good week.

I finally got round to watching 127 Hours too! It was brilliant and James Franco was astounding, it just made me fall in love with him all over again. However, I was right when I thought that I couldn't sit through the gory arm bit, because I am way too squeamish for that. Anyway, here are a couple of photos of me, it's kind of an outfit post I guess. :-)

I'm wearing all hand-me-downs: The top is from H&M and the shorts are Levi's.

Anyway, I am so tired now, so I think I'm gonna do some reading and then have a nap. Gotta catch some ZZZZZZZs before I spontaneously combust. Happy blogging!

The title of this post is a song, The Girl, by City and Colour. Been listening to this song a lot lately, as well as all my other favourites. Been listening to lots of music in general lately, broadening my horizons, lounging around. It's a good feeling. I'm feeling good.

The Devil's Tears

Currently just reminiscing and thinking about the summer. Last summer seems so long ago and I miss it a hell of a lot. London and America was amazing. Best six weeks of my lifetime thus far. Here are a just a few photos:

Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now

Hey guys and gals. Here's a little barely-there outfit post. I'm wearing clothes, so it counts as an 'outfit' post, I suppose. I just can't do anything very interesting, because British weather is particularly unforthcoming when it comes to distribution of sunshine and warmth, etc. Anywho, here it is:

Freakonomics is really good, still not finished it, but still really enjoying it, especially as it's a non-fiction book. The other two books and the two DVDs are late birthday presents from my friends which I asked for:
1. I've been wanting to read Walden for ages! I'd read some quotations from it ages ago and have wanted to get my hands on it for a while, so perfect opportunity and I can't wait to read it!
2. One Day is a book that I randomly saw on Amazon and I just really liked the sound of it. It resembled Nick Hornby's and Tony Parson's style of writing at first glance, which kinda pushed me to want to read it.
3. Leap Year is my guilty pleasure, since I watched it on the plane on the way back from America last summer. Matthew Goode and Amy Adams are so charming, I just had to get it!
4. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Another long-awaited purchase. I had heard of this ages ago and always wanted to watch it!

Now, enough prattling. I have an English essay to write on Shakespeare's Macbeth. Joy of joys. I'm also currently nursing a headache, sore throat and runny nose. Enough complaining, I suppose. Hope the rest of you are enjoying your weekends. Happy blogging! :-)

P.S. Listen to Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now by Starship. Fantastic song, which I always just want to belt out from the rooftops or something. Makes me feel alive.
